The Egyptian Blogger Amr Gharbeia, sent an Email on the Egyptian Bloggers Mailing List today asking us to participate in Global Voices Online, by translating some of the Egyptian Blog Posts written in Arabic during the last few days into English, in order to help the Egyptian Blogospher get more coverage there. So, I'll give it a try here and looking forward to hearing your feedback. I'll select some posts from the Egyptian Blogs I am subscribed to in Google Reader, and will write a brief about each post if needed and then translate parts of them.

A TRIP TO EILAT (ELAT/ EYLAT) - الطريق الي إلات
EGYPT - THE REALITY!! ( By Isis) - Tue, 2007-09-18 02:06 By ISIS
I am organizing a trip with my friends in Eid... we wanna go to Sinai... to Nuweiba, Dahab, and Taba... We will have like 3 days off from school and we want to take an extra 3 days plus the weekend... We wanna go on a relaxing trip and we don't wanna go to Sharm because it turns into a ridiculously crowded and commercial place during the festive seasons... Everyone I wanna avoid is there - everything I wanna stay away from is there... but still... I love Sinai and I've been on several trips driving and camping through this lovely region of nature and of beauty... I'm very excited...

Dictatorship…but among who?
Politikia and the Society - Sat, 2007-09-15 01:14 By
Dictatorship, something which most human beings in our world suffered from in a time or another when talking about regimes. All people know or feel how does it look like to fall under the burden of a dictator of some sort or another. But here, I am not talking about it while dealing with regimes usually supported by the west. Here I’m talking about people. The reflections of cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression, on the people, and what does it lead to. About the results. As a universal law, every action has a reaction, equal in magnitude and opposite in direction. This eternal physical law can be applied on people while still being politically correct.
