Egyptian Blogoshpere Review - 8 October 2007
The Egyptian Blogger Amr Gharbeia, sent an Email on the Egyptian Bloggers Mailing List today asking us to participate in Global Voices Online, by translating some of the Egyptian Blog Posts written in Arabic during the last few days into English, in order to help the Egyptian Blogospher get more coverage there. So, I'll give it a try here and looking forward to hearing your feedback. يحدث في سيناء الآن
بعد ثلاث أيام بالظبط يوم 1 يوليو 2007 يبدأ ألاف من أهل سيناء ممثلين لكل قبائل بدو سيناء من الشمال و الجنوب و الوسط اعتصام مفتوح بالقرب من الحدود المصرية الفلسطينية.
اللي بيحصل النهاردة في سيناء وسط البدو بذرة ثورة واسعة، لا تقل أهمية و لا تأثيرا عن الاضرابات العمالية الضخمة اللي شغالة من أول السنة. read more »
Egypt - Is it Still a Regional Leader?
We were taught in schools that Egypt is the leader of the Arabs and their big brother with its bzillion years history and wise role. But, is this still true now!? In fact I think the Egyptian leadership has shrank due to many reasons.
Some may claim that Mubarak's regime is focused on some minor internal affairs such as preparing his son Gamal to succeed him. And this is the main reason that Egypt has lost its regional place. read more »

اننا أبناء قبائل سيناء لا نقبل أن يزايد أحد على وطنيتنا مهما كان موقعه أو مركزه، فنحن مصريون وطنيون و سجلات المخابرات الحربية تشهد بذلك. و لكن للأسف نقولها بمرارة أننا أبناء سيناء و نعامل من قبل الأجهزة الأمنية معاملة لا إنسانية و الحكمة تقول (اذا زاد الشيئ عن حده انقلب الي ضده) و هذا ما حدث بالفعل. read more »
