Essam El Erian and Ignorance
Abdel Monem Mahmoud, the active and well respected Muslim Brotherhood Blogger met with Essam El Erian, a political leader of the Muslim Brotherhood just as he was released from Prison on the 9th of October. Abdel Monem discussed many issues with Essam El Erian most importantly of course was the Muslim Brotherhood political platform that was issued while Essam El Erian was held behind bars.

Robert Mugabe, Al Ahram and the Axis of Comedy
On the 3rd of October 2007, Al Ahram reporter conducted an interview with Robert Mugabe, President of Zimbabwe. In her interview introduction the reporter said that the West had accused Mugabe of being a bloody Dictator and Human Rights violator, but that she had found him to be a simple, humble and nice person. The interview was clearly target towards showing him as the victim of the West’s campaign against him.

Honesty is the Best Policy
I was walking downtown when I saw this “bum” and this sign…

I walked up to him and said, “hey I’ll give you a dollar if you let me take ur picture.” He said sure and then revealed that he wasnt really a bum, just a “traveler” who was trying to collect money to go to another city. He flipped his sign over which on the other side said, “please give me some money I’m trying to leave Chicago”. He said he uses the “beer” sign because he gets more money that way.

I arrived yesterday morning in California, my plane landed in a suburb of LA called Ontario. As expected it was a tiny, pathetic excuse for an airport but who cares, the ticket was cheaper and still close to my friends place. read more »
California Here I Come!
Tomorrow I’m leaving for California, I’ll be there for 4 days and I’m having mixed feelings about it. On one hand I’m going there to visit some friends and get away for a while and on the other hand I’ve always hated California, specifically Los Angeles. read more »
