Banning the brink of revolution in the land of Pharaoh.
I do not know what Farouk Hosni justification will be to this order as a candidate for the UNESCO chair that refuses the ban of books what ever their contents are. Is not this against freedom of expression ?? or freedom of expression for the minister is the freedom to write against religions and sex in disgusting way. read more »
Ayman Nour will not be free from tomorrow
Tomorrow Ayman Nour will not be free as Gamila Ismail ; his wife; along with his supporters.
Mubarak will not grant him the 23rd of July Revolution day pardon like other 1500 prisoners all over Egypt.
Press was circulating that Mubarak will grant Nour but it turned to be false.
I highly doubt because Nour did lose his edge , he is still attacking Mubarak and against him. He will not come out and leave the political arena.
By the way a number of Nour’s supporters were arrested today. read more »
Robert Mugabe and Mubarak ; More than a common factor
They are both Africans .
They are both ruling important countries.
They are both in their 80s , Mugabe is older than Mubarak , also he stayed in the rule more than Mubarak.
They are both dictators.
They are ready to be with the west or even against it despite the interest of their people as long as they assure the durability in their places as rulers.
The most important common factor that both men refuse to leave the throne till death !!?
So do you still surprsie why he was welcomed in the African Summit ??
By the way he shares the same qualities with Gaddafi and Omar Al Bashir read more »

A Protest by the pilgrims in Mena
It seems that the Protests and Strike culture is finding its way more and more among the Egyptians and wonderful thing it happens in the last place you would expect
This is time outside our national borders , it is in KSA this time in the holy land too during the Pilgrimage !!
Surprise is not it ??
3000 Egyptian Pilgrims members in the official delegation protested yesterday after Friday's prayer and they even made a siege around the HQ of the officials in the delegation protesting the bad treatment they suffer from in the delegation . It seems that they gave 3000 tents to sleep in made for less this number , the Saudis made the tents for less than 3000 people , for example they gave tents originally for 50 , the delegation assigns the tent to 100 person read more »
Mubarak won... yepeeeeee
Today Hosni Mubarak was elected chairman of Egypt's ruling party. True that he was the only candidate, but he still won.
The interesting bit is that a new "higher committee" will be created, whose members will have the right to come forward as presidential candidates. The higher committee will incorporate the influential party dudes including guess who?
Democracy at it's very finest. Don't you think?
A message to Mubarak
A message to Mubarak.
Then it all crashes down and you break your crown
And you point your finger but there's no one around
Just want one thing, just to play the king
But the castle's crumbled and you're left with just a name
Where's your crown, King Nothing?
Elections
Q : In a democratic society like Egypt, how important are elections?
A : Very important. Sex can only happen when a male gets an election.
Dictatorship…but among who?
Dictatorship, something which most human beings in our world suffered from in a time or another when talking about regimes. All people know or feel how does it look like to fall under the burden of a dictator of some sort or another. But here, I am not talking about it while dealing with regimes usually supported by the west. Here I’m talking about people. The reflections of cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression, on the people, and what does it lead to. About the results. As a universal law, every action has a reaction, equal in magnitude and opposite in direction. This eternal physical law can be applied on people while still being politically correct.
The Regime and Mario
I guess that we are in the same place with that person who plays Mario here in this video. In democratic administrations, the game is so hard, but things develop in the right way. But in Egypt, the regime cheats to make the game impossible :)
